I'm Ismael Martinez, a principal software developer based in Edinburgh, Scotland, currently at Postcode Lottery. I've spent over 20 years building reliable, well-crafted software across industries — from systems administration and cloud architecture to event-driven systems, observability, and platform engineering. I maintain several open source projects, including teams-for-linux, and I write regularly about what I learn along the way.
